“I have had the room vacuum cleaned twice today and still there is all this...”
Vacuum is not empty. In space no one can hear you scream, but all these particles, all this dust, all these
partrcriclers, all these waves, irgendwo müssen die ja hin knirstern. Horton hears a Hu. Huhu. Who is the
aether? Who is in the aether to make all these waves so wobbly wavy? We imagined, when they would arrive,
their Arrival would mark footsteps in the desert dust. But they arrived by making dusty prints on vacuumed
promises. Hätte Horten sie nicht gehört, who knows! We would still be waiting instead of licking the dust from
our electromagnetic tapes in their worship. Praise the Lurrch, guidance to be sceptic of the antiseptic. Praise
be! to the Lurrch, grains of love in vast empty spaces. Lurrch, daily tumbleweed of hope, glimmerrer of light.
Leave me in the lurch, the Lurrch will find me, refine me. Left in the lurch, I’ll be fine-grained and the vacuum
will suck a little less.
